A MusicBee competitor touts 64 bit as being better, that it is somehow cleaner. And some of the VST plugins I use in MB have both 32 and 64 bit versions.

Is there any benefit for MusicBee to move to 64 bit?

I did a search but did not find anything current.

Thanks

PMFJI, but that applies at all 32 vs 64 bit questions unless the extra memory accessibility is needed. Some programs claim that 64 bit is faster, but I have never seen a difference (if I can only tell by measuring, it is not a significant increase IMHO).

I have heard that 32 bit apps run faster under x64 windows than x86. I read it is something to do with the pagefile being virtual?

Cheers
