I think what happened is that I was trying to update MusicBee, and probably I had originally installed it in a custom folder, and when I updated, it didn't catch that custom path, and I inadvertently allowed it to install in the Default location, so now I have both Version 3.1.6531 as well as version 3.1.5512 installed (with separate skins, etc), and and they conflict, and the program constantly crashes.

So the question  is: what's the best way to clean this up? Totally uninstall both versions, and then do a fresh install of the latest? In which case, how do I not lose data, playlists, etc. in the process.

I was about to do just that, but paused at the precipice and thought better of asking advice first. Any recommendations, y'all?
