Custom Tag errors: duplicate field displays

... there does seem to be an issue with Custom Tags being duplicated (x4 is some cases!) in MusicBee's Library.

On checking this a bit more, it seems MB has handling in place for when using both ID3 and APE tags to stop them from being duplicated when displayed.
But it seems there might be a bug as it doesn't extend to Custom tags and also won't work on inbuilt custom tags if you change the 'display name'.

You might need to post this in the Bugs sub-forum for Steven to see this.

A couple of images to illustrate this.

A track that I have tagged with both ID3v2.4 and APEv2 tags.
In the track info panel you can see that some tags have duplicated displays and others don't.
One set is my defined custom tag GENREGROUP:


The other is the MB defined custom tag INVOLVEDPEOPLE that I have changed the display name to 'Technicians':

Custom tags will double up if the same values exist in two different tag formats. For the next v3.2 update, i have put in some handling so that doesnt happen

Thanks for your input on this! Have you ever found a way to make MB save both ID3 AND APE tags? Or, at least, not delete 'unchosen' one when details are saved?
