Have you tried any players other than BlackPlayer? Metadata handling is often inconsistent between players. It may just be that BlackPlayer isn't playing nicely with the metadata tags.

I tag my library using a combination of MediaMonkey and MusicBee. I don't have any problems with the resulting metadata using BubbleUPnP.

I'm not sure I follow the process you are using to link your MusicBee library and the Android player library. Is your MusicBee library stored on the SD card you're using under Android? Or are you exporting some of your library to the SD card. If so, how are you doing the export?

I have tried Google Play Music which is on my phone. It had the same issues with metadata. I also tried Shuttle and Rocket Player in the past. To get my music on the phone I right click an album > send to portable device. I don't sync, I do it all manually. I have too much music to fit on my SD card lol.
