Hi Steve! :)

First of all thanks a lot for MusicBee - awesome player!

As a little gimmick it'd be really nice if MusicBee would get it's media buttons in windows 7.
Don't know if it's 'your job' to implement it for the new taskbar or if it's windows 7's job to recognize MusicBee as a media player... nevertheless it would come quite handy if MusicBee could be controled via the taskbar. :)

By the way: MusicBee runs quite perfect under Windows 7 RC 64bit! :)

'cause a picture says more than a 1000 words...

Best regards,

There is a foobar plugin that enables windows 7 taskbar functionality. Perhaps there is source code available...

It basically shows cover art, play control and seek bar as a preview when hovering over the icon. Also it adds a right click jump list.

Well... this sounds like a "deluxe" version. :) Which would be great, of course.
But for those "basic" media buttons, I did nothing... probably you just have to tell Windows 7 that your app is a media player?!

good night and good luck.
