Hello,
I was wondering if its possible to organize (move) tracks based on their bitrate via the Organise Files tool.
I have many files that vary from 128kbps to 319kbps, as well as some that are VBR.
My plan is to replace the files that are less than 320kbps with the 320kbps version of the file (when I find ,rip-and-convert, or purchase it).

The folders I have created are as follows:

200-319 kbps (also including the VBR files that fall within 200-319kbps )
0-200 kbps

Other than manually sorting the files via bitrate column and manually moving to them to the folders, is there a way to automate this process?

I'm open to other suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Set up an auto-playlist where bitrate is less than 320.

This might be helpful: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Playlists#Auto_Playlists
Note that the 'jump' to the auto-playlists section doesn't work so you'll have to scroll down to about the middle to get to that section.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Thank you for the reply and for the suggestion.
I was actually able to come up with a solution.

The File Organizer tool actually an option to add exceptions.

I used Bitrate between a range of 2 values and also added Encoding Quality between a range of 2 values.
I also had to add the folder path (where the VBR files would be moved to) in the naming template.

It seems to have worked.

MusicBee and this forum are awesome!

An interesting use of the Organizer. But with this method you'd have to re-organize every so often.

By using the Auto-Playlist method, as you remove tracks with the lower bitrate, they'll automatically be removed from the Auto-Playlist. And as you add new tracks, if they meet the criteria, they'd automatically be added to the auto-playlist. So you'll always know what needs to be worked on. Without having to 're-organize.'

Exactly.
I was only think short-term, but I like your long-term solution.
Thank you again for the suggestion.
