Volume analysis for all selected tracks as a single album

Would be great if there's an option in the volume analysis dialog that treats all added (selected) tracks as a single album for album gain values.
Then if you're using folder option for album grouping, you don't have to add all tracks into a single folder just for volume analysis.
Also it would make it possible to apply the same album gain values to all albums in a box set.

Can you make it show the progress bar over MB icon on the taskbar with this option enabled?
Also what's the condition to show it regardless of this option? A minimum number of selected albums? Why not show it all the time?

When multiple albums are selected without this option enabled, the progress bar is indicating each album's progress rather than the whole albums.
