Normalising Playback Volume

In 'Help' for Normalizing Playback Volume it is stated: 'No adjustment is made to the sound data in the music file itself (unless you choose the permanent adjustment option)......'


I want to choose the permanent adjustment option - but where do I find this option so tat I can activate it?

That option was removed from MB several versions ago. Too many users didn't think permanent really meant permanent and that the changes couldn't be undone.
It now only exists in the sync options.

Do a forum search.  Steven did talk of making the option available by editing the settings or ini file, but I can't remember what the outcome was.
