Is it possible to open web links in standard web browser?

Currently when clicking on a web link MB opens it own browser window.

Is it possible to change that so that the clicked link is opened in the standard web browser?

I already checked the internet settings in prereferences but could not find a check box or so to achieve this.

Just disable the web browser plugin. It may require a restart.
