can i have one entry for the the boxset?  and still show name of disks and so on   might need some help here i don't know  how far mb is along for adding boxsets  in this way

What view do you normally use?  I use Album & Tracks, which allows use of the subheader for each disc if you want.

If you have the same album name for all of it, and set the disc #s, it should display as separate discs.  I think there's still a way to use a subheader in that view, but someone else will know better than me how to set it up.

Yes, you can use subheaders in the albums view. You need to select view tracks below the selected album, and configure the submenu (click to show settings).
