Upcoming concerts not working

When clicking on settings to add my location i get this error message "unable to initialize settings. please try again later"
Its been like this since the install.

working fine for me. Perhaps it was a temporary glitch but if it keeps happening let me know the location you are trying to use

try the latest patch version:
http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V3_1/MusicBee31_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee files

The patch did solve the issue.
But after the patch Avast got really interested in the musicbee.exe file and keeps sending it to Avast Virus Lab for interrogation. And musicbee wont start.

You need to whitelist musicbee.exe in Avast's exceptions/exclusions.
