Hi
i have bought an album

and i have ripped in flac , after i convert on mp4 for my phone and mp3 for my car stereo

ok i have now on my computer the same album in flac/mp4 & mp3

ok i can delete the mp4 and mp3 files

but that's not the point , outside smart playlist are there some tips to help me to browse my music ->artist->album->year and extension

i use these layouts

If you right-click on the column header of the column browser (you currently have the same Artist-Album-Year for every tab) and select "Set Displayed Columns", you can adjust displayed tags and change the order. Add "Kind" tag.

In preferences, under sorting/grouping, you can specify the criteria for how an album is defined and grouped. Adding ".Ext" to that list should solve your problem.

There is a better way: use MusicBee to synchronize straight to the phone or USB stick.
No need to have duplicates in different formats in your library

Yeah, you're right. Then create a virtual tag for the field (<Kind>) and add that instead.
