Hello,

Some months ago i started to use Musicbee and i really love it.
After spending those months perfecting my library, i choose to purchase a dropbox account and throw every file there.

The upload is still in action, not all my library in already synced.

Here starts the problem.

Now musicbee won't recognize the path of the moved file, i tried to rescan, i tried to make a new library but for now nothing.

Today i noticed that every moved files have changed extension to .asx

Right now i can't get to play a single file for the error "can't finde source file"

Can you suggest me what to do? at the moment i'm clueless.

Thank you

File->Library->Remap Music Folders

Although with this asx situation it sounds like your library may be hosed beyond repair and you should restore the library files from a backup or start over at this point.

You could have used MusicBee's excellent file organization features to move the files to their new location and everything would have worked fine.

Thanks for you help.

Luckily i was prepared and i have multiple back up, but i'm asking to myself why simple drag and drop changed all the extensions from mp3 in asx.

the only place MusicBee can create .asx files is in the duplicates manager

Ok, then that would be the case.

I touched here and there trying to remap manually and i've made some bad mistake :(
