Hello all. I just downloaded MB and I'm getting use to its UI and usage, I was an iTunes user before.

I find that MB can organise files. I tried to enable the auto organise feature, but then I got a message, saying that there are some tags missing and MB cannot organise those files. So I used the tool to see what tags was I missing, and it turns out all of my files are missing both year and genre tags.

This is intentional, as I removed all  those tags prior importing my MP3 collection to iTunes. I haven't had the time to browse and categorise all my music, and year and genre are not all that important to me. iTunes certanily does not require to have those tags to organise the files, I wonder why MB requires them.

Is there some way where I can enable auto organise feature without having to add year and genre tags? Thanks in advance.

There's an option at the bottom of the auto-organize dialog that allows that.

Untick "do not reorganize files with missing naming tags" setting.

Thanks. I unticked the option and saved the settings, but now nothing's happening, no file's being copied. Do I need to do anything else? Thanks again!

You might also want to remove year and/or genre from your organizing template, because otherwise MusicBee will insert a lot of values like "Unknown Year".  See these pages for help with that:

Although I don't think MusicBee's default template uses either Year or Genre, so those may not actually be the ones it was complaining about...
