Various Artists albums no longer under V ?

Various Artists albums no longer  under V ?
on 3.1.6461

has some thing changed ?
if i  click recently added  my Various Artists albums are listed under the  first letter  of the first album and not under v  as before  so under G   as the first album is Grease

if i go no filter  i can not even find where they are hiding 8-)

you will need to provide more details - a screenshot will help.
If you are refering to the main panel, i expect you have not included Album Artist in the sort criteria

Check the Sorting tab of the tag editor to be sure that they haven't been accidentally assigned some other sort value.

is custom sorting enabled in the Tags(2) preferences
