Is it possible to add an ftp as a source?  I would like to access my home music from work.

Thanks.

there is no native support in musicbee for that.
perhaps one of the other users here might know of a way for an ftp to set up to mimic a windows drive letter

Here is a Lifehacker article that may help.

the article is actually about just adding it as a network place in windows

I tried this, but mb won't let me add it as a source.  I can't pick it in the new library and choosing network location.

I tried one of the ftp software from the end of the article and it didn't work either.

mb saw the drive, but not under computer instead under devices and I recieved all kids of errors trying to read the files.

You could try Subsonic (subsonic.org) along with the (mostly working) Subsonic plugin.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
