I was prompted to download the latest version of MusicBee yesterday (17 Sep 2017) and my AV software detected BrowseFox malware bundled with the download.

Anyone else encountered this?

That's not anything included in the 'official' download. I would deleted it without opening/installing.
From what site did you download it?
You should download from the downloads page on the MB website or from the 'latest version' thread in the forum.

Avast is known to display false positives with MB, so if you're using Avast, you might need to whitelist the .exe once you download from here.

Using Webroot. Download from 'Mirror 1'.

I just downloaded from Mirror 1 and ran the zip thru VirusTotal. It came up clean with Webroot, but three others declared it suspicious...

A few users have reported MusicBeeXBox.dll being removed.
According to VirusTotal, webroot thinks its has "Pua.Browsefox"
All other scanners OK the file

you will need MusicBeeXBox.dll for MusicBee to function so restore that file using the webroot security software
