Heard the best improvement in sound quality of my sound system for years today, especially in the top end. 
Had ear canal irrigation procedure at local clinic. Volume is usually set to 42, but pretty loud now at 36..

Just saying :-)

    Been a long time since I've had that done. It is a nice gain boost, great for those hard-to-drive cans.

      Had to be done as wife getting sick of me saying "what?", everytime she spoke, so a peace  keeping mission too!
      Didn't notice audio quality depreciation due to blocked ears quite so much with AKG over the ear headphones though, only the ear-buds!
