I'm in the middle of a huge sync of my MusicBee library to a new 256 GB microSD card.  If I click Cancel will everything be deleted from my card and will I have to start over or will I be able to resume the sync where I left off?  I'm using MB version 2.5.5804.

No, it shouldn't delete files that have already transferred.

Is there a reason you haven't upgraded to 3.0?

Honestly, I wasn't aware it existed until I came to this site to ask this question.  I downloaded the version I am currently using 2 years ago and have been using it since then.  It's the only music library software I've found that has a sync option which works exactly how I need it to.

As for upgrading, usually software will automatically check for updates, and I did look for a menu option to do so but didn't find one.  Was always planning on going back to the site to check but never got around to it.  I will definitely be upgrading to 3 now.  Thanks for your answer and help!

When I clicked Cancel, another window popped up with a list of the tracks that would be aborted along with another option to cancel and a spinning circle.  Since I wasn't sure what it was doing at that point, I waited awhile before clicking cancel again.

Now there are a lot of empty folders on the SD card with the album titles but no tracks in them.  I am fairly certain that those folders had files in them that were synced and it deleted them.  When I started the sync again, it started from artists beginning with "B" when I had got all the way up to "K" before I canceled.

I'm not blaming you at all psychoadept, you said it "shouldn't delete" the tracks, which was hardly definitive, and I realized I was clicking cancel at my own risk.  Well, at least I am now upgraded to version 3.1 while I sync again.  It's not a big deal, really.

Huh.  Hopefully the update will do the trick for you, but if you continue to have issues with syncing, let us know the details.
