I know that I can get Windows 10 to allow me to set MB as my default player by running MB as administrator.  But I am reluctant to do so because I realize that, with some programs, running as administrator can be catastrophic to my system.  Is MB "safe" to run as administrator?  Has anyone else run into any problems by doing it with MB?  Many thanks!

There's no need to run it that way on a regular basis (in fact it interferes with things like drag & drop functionality). But doing it once to set file permissions should cause no harm.
