Artist and Album link to: Library Filter - issue

This issue is regarding the setting found in: Arrange Panels->Track Information->Artist and Album link to: library filter or artist information (mine is set to library filter)

The issue I'm having is that this setting does not always find all the songs in my library from that artist. And it would seem that the issue is dependent on which song I use as the source for the search.

I have a couple of filters set up that, based on different rules, separates my Various Artist albums from everything else.

Example:

If I navigate to the filter "Soundtracks" and choose a Fleetwood Mac song and then press the artist link in the right main panel.

As you can see there's 30 tracks listed.

If I instead navigate to the filter called "Decades" and do the same thing (choose Fleetwood Mac).

As you can see there are now 92 tracks, which is all of them.


It does not seem to have anything to do with how the filters are set up. If I navigate to "Soundtracks" and instead of Fleetwood Mac I choose a The Byrds song, it shows all the Byrds songs I have in my library, just like it's supposed to. If I do a regular search all the tracks show just fine which leads me to believe that it's not about how the tags text are formatted.

Any tips on how to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
