To reproduce, play a track in artist picture view. While playing, enable "draw controls on picture" option and then disable the option. Then you will see the progress bar is drawn at the end of the player bar.
There seem to be two conditions: it happens only when more than a half of the song was played and when the player's width isn't too wide.
