I would prefer that $Sort/Ignore Words just dropped the words or characters in question, rather than moving them to the end.  It would vastly simplify some virtual tags (and maybe allow commas to be ignored, too?).  Does anyone actually prefer to see "Beatles, The" over just "Beatles"?  (I can think of one or two instances where this might matter, but in those cases you could use sort values.)

I had to change my workflow in order to prevent "Beatles, The" from appearing. And I still forget to make the correction manually sometimes, so after moving files to an organized folder, I'll find "Beatles" and "Beatles, The" and then I have to re-edit and move. GRRR!

Get rid of it, I say. Get rid of it.

Please.

I cant change the existing $Sort function as there will be people depending on the current behavior.
I am happy to create another function. If you think of a good name for it that doesnt confuse $Sort then let me know

I just want to again thank Steven for implementing, and psychoadept for requesting, this new function. I've been able to eliminate a few steps from my workflow. I put it to a big test today when I re-ripped 27 CDs of The Beatles.

Thank you both!!
