<Artwork> is available from the field selector in virtual tags creator.
Should the value returned ever be anything besides "Unknown Artwork" ?
Maybe something like "Cover", "folder", "Embedded" or "Linked" ?

Could the <Artwork> field in virtual tags be enabled to provide feedback on the MIME type of artwork, please?
A quick google of the bass library API says it can return the apic code for the picture type and even "-->" for the MIME type to show its a link rather than embedded artwork.

bummer  :(
I was hoping it was reading if MIME type file was attached and returned the picture type eg. Cover (front) or even just Y/N or T/ F so you could check for embedded artwork.

If I understand this correctly, then this is similar to this, or rather would enable something like this (?): https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=21265.0
In which case +1 from me as well.

No problem, Bee-liever.  :-)
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
