Last.fm issues with play count

Hi,

Found that I have an issue with my local play count not updating whenever I enable last.fm scrobbling. I have it set so that if 50% of the song is listened to or more than 60 seconds is listened to then one is added to the play count, this breaks however if I enable scrobbling. Is there any solution to this issue?
