Hi everybody, i'm new but i'm using musicbee from 1 month. It's an excellent software but i need some help about organization of my huge music library

1st Point: FOLDER ORGANIZING (FROM TAGS)
I'd like to know if it's possible to organize music in a folders by: genre, artist, years and more... i tried to organize music by others 3rd part software products (with no efficient results) but i need to organize music like this:

Genre
Artist - Album

Example:

Funk / Soul
Donna Summer ‎– Spring Affair

I tried to do that operation with other software products, after tagged my files but i got this bad result. (the software i used to order from genres, found other sub-genres as musicbee tagged so it did a mistake!!

then, by case i went into library statistics and i seen "Genre with more tracks" and it shown me:

IT'S MORE ORDERED ! ! ! ! PERFECTLY!
So i'd like to have this features into Musicbee. (It's one of many main motivations because i'm doing this topic)

2nd Point: FOLDER'S FILENAMES RENAMING
I'd like to rename automatically all folders (from tags) as this structure:

Artist - Album - (Format) - Year, (Country, SHORT)

Example:
Earth, Wind & Fire - I've Had Enough - (Vinyl, 12") - 1981, UK

It's simple for me if can be possible to add cat-nr too like this:
Earth, Wind & Fire - I've Had Enough - (CBS ‎– CBS A 13 1959) - (Vinyl, 12") - 1981, UK

In this cases i can perfectly have the library fixed  :-*

Obviously there are different formats type:
Vinyl, Album, CD, LP, 7" , 45 RPM, Single ,12" ,Compilation ,File ,Promo ,EP ,Cassette ,Limited Edition ,Reissue ,33 ⅓ RPM ,Stereo ,CDr ,Maxi-Single ,Remastered ,78 RPM ,Mixed ,WAV ,FLAC ,Test Pressing ,Mini-Album ,Box Set ,Club Edition ,Sampler ,Deluxe Edition

3rd Point: FOLDER COMPRESS / EXPANSION

When i import (Drag & Drop) folders to Music Library (Tab), I'd like to know if there is an option to Expand/Compress Folders because it show me only files...

For an example:

Thanks in advance to everyone i'm waitin' for replies :)))
keep it up the good work ! ! !

One trick I think may be helpful if you have multiple genres tagged is to use $First(<Genre>) in your organization template, so that it will capture only the primary genre.

Hi everyone,

I have given the issue of music file organization a good bit of thought and I have gone through several iterations of file-system development.

No matter how you proceed, there are trade-offs.  However, I think that there is only one item that is unique - and that item is the unique number for the CD, LP, Tape, or whatever other source from which your music originated (obviously, not including direct downloads of individual tracks).

So, for me, I settled upon the concept of having the top folder be the brand-name of the original source recording (RCA, Decca, Columbia, etc.).  Within each label master folder, other folders might be by artist or by composer, depending upon how I find it easiest to classify music for quick retrieval.

I hope this helps.

Best,

Art
