I'd like that Track Information and Lyrics panel would not linked each other. I prefer to view track information of selected track and I'd like to view lyrics of playing song.

    Preferences/ Layout(1) then untick "synchronise playing/ selected tracks"

      at the moment I don't remember why I had ticked this entry, but now it seems I don't have any drawback

        i have amended the behaviour of that setting so MB now only updates the panel you toggle playing/selected tracks - previously it was changing any panels that were in the same overlay group
