MONITORING FILES PLEASE HELP

i have a music folder on my desktop and i set up to monitor my folder on my desktop. i also moved the library to that folder aswell that is on my desktop. but nothing is adding automatically. also what is the point of the music and inbox feature?

Have you turned on Auto-organize in preferences?  No audio files will be moved without that.

Add your folders to "continuously Monitored" in Edit->Preferences->Library

It does exactly what it says.

I did that but and it set on continously monitor....so when i add a song into the file and i search for it on musicbee nothing shows

New files in monitored folders turn up in your 'Inbox' tab by default. From there you need to send it to 'Music Library', OR, change the behaviour in the MusicBee preferences so all new files are sent to Music Library immediately without being stored in the Inbox first.

guys its not working...im going to uninstall and reinstall...can someone please guide me step by step how to set it up...my music folder is on my desktop
