Replace iPod shuffle 2nd generation that has died...

I have a 2nd generation iPod shuffle that has died, Instead of replacing or repairing it I'm thinking about replacing it with some other media device.  Any recommendations on a device that is close to the same size and maybe better player capabilities and maybe has FM reception??
