Good Morning,
I have a lot of 2h radio show recordings with full track listing in the COMMENT tag.
(Found no better place to put them).
It would be great to see the tag content in the main panel during playback.
I don't think there's a way to get this done.
Have a nice day,
Stef

PS: here's an example:

Nothing else to lose. David Jones (8 januari 1947 - 10 januari 2016).

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know about presenting comments in the main panel other than adding it as a column.  Then again, the column is not going to show everything and the mouse hoverbox doesn't appear to work correctly with large comments (just tried now).  You would be better off configuring one of the sidebars (left or right) to display the comment field for you.  Or, you can go into compact player mode and arrange it to display the comment field front and center.

  • Now with FiiO M11!
Have you considered using .cue sheets to display the files as individual tracks?

@ssri: Thanks for the suggestions. Displaying comment is really limited as you already pointed out. In the right sidebar the display is acceptable. I added a screenshot. The compact player (second screenshot) sports a popup but because that disappears again it's not what I'm looking for. Thanks again, and have a nice day!

@Critterman: no I didn't. I actually have never used cue sheets. I checked out the link you provided and I guess I'll need to convert the comment tags I have into another format. No time right now to reload my awk skills, maybe later  :)
Have a nice day!

While in compact player mode, click "MusicBee" and select Playlist.

Note, to get the tab look in my screenshot, "MusicBee" > Customize Panel > Tick off stacked and have the ticked elements displayed as tabs.
