Hello all

Running MB 3.0.5995.

Just had to reinstall my PC, and before that I backed up my MB EQ settings and playlists.

I got the music and EQ settings imported right after re-install, but I am having an issue importing the playlists. Note it's the same version of MB after the re-install.

When I go to the File menu to import playlists, it's not seeing anything.

I figured out it's because the backed up playlists are saved as MBP files, which apparently cannot be imported directly.

Does anyone know if there is a workaround to this?

With respect,
Soren

I believe all you need to do is copy or move the .mbp files into the playlists folder under the library's name.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Thanks,

I just don't see a folder called "Playlists" in the program folder.

Where do you suggest that the "Playlists" folder should be?

Hi all

Thanks for your valuable help.

I did eventually resolve the issue, and did find the library (needed my head to start working first  :) ).

In my first post I forgot to mention that all my music files are stored in OneDrive (which are also replicated to the local Music folder), and the library files are not in OneDrive, only in the local cached copy.

Sorry for this, hopefully it's gonna make sense for others.

Thanks for feedbacks.

With respect
Søren
