Importing and Exporting Start/Stop Times

Is it possible to have custom start/stop times be imported from iTunes? When you export to iTunes, can those custom start/stop times also be saved? I know that this isn't possible when you sync to most android devices because they don't support the tag, I just wondered if there is some option I missed when importing from iTunes that would allow me to save custom start/stop times since it took a little while to go through my library and set them up.
