Hi,
I'm a bit lost with lyrics & musicbee as of now
For example, musicbee displays lyrics fine by default but when I go to "edit track", then "lyrics" tab, it's empty
Is there a way to retrieve your whole library lyrics ?

Also in "now playing" tab in "artist picture" mode, I can't seem to either :
-increase the space available to display lyrics over
-nor increase the font size
(currently using main panel left side for lyrics but right panel is the same result)

Finally I heard about synched lyrics, I tried searching but again I'm lost
I saw there's mainly two competitors ? (right ?)
-minilyrics which relies on an external application ? (and an optional plugin?)
-& lyrics reloaded which works from within musicbee directly

is there any list of pros & cons of each ? can you guyz advise me ?
Any input appreciated,
Thanks.

Whis.

try to right-click on lyrics and choose "autosave lyrics".

hum sorry where is that ?
I have "embed lyrics in the music file" that's about all, I don't see "autosave" maybe it's added by a plugin ? or else it was in MB2 ??

no, no plugin is needed for unsynced lyrics. i don't know you layout setup, but in my layout lyrics is displayed in the right pane (i've slightly changed my previous post, just grammar corrections).

I think what boroda74 is referring to is now in Preferences > Tags (2) > auto-tagging > lyrics > auto-retrieve (and save without prompt)

I also seem to remember from quite a ways back, that Steven once said lyrics can be either embedded into the music file, or saved as an external file. But not both.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

continuation of my lyrics adventures :
I was unable to make the minilyrics helper plugin work with MB3

minilyrics itself works, lrc files are stored alongside musicfiles, helper plugin configured as such
and then musicbee do says : "no lyrics found"

edit: also as a comment, I have to say minilyrics is a good idea in theory, it's pretty nice buuut the scrolling is not perfectly smooth
