Perhaps consider removing the uninstall shortcut from the installation process. It is no longer the days of windows XP and discombobulated uninstaller. A great majority of uninstalls already resides in "Programs and Features," and uninstall shortcuts are no longer necessary as they only serve to clutter the start menu folder.

You can remove the uninstall shortcut yourself by right-clicking on it and then selecting delete.
OR
You can use the portable version of MB.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

phred, you are quite right and this is a problem for very many apps, but maybe this wish may make this world slightly better?  ;)
