Our radio station computer has started showing extended playlists. We think it started with the latest update to Windows 10, but not sure. We are using MBee 2.5XXX.
Previously they were just simple .m3u text files but are now riddled with #EXTINFO garbage and timings are listed as -1 etc.
Any ideas what could have caused this?

Any ideas, could another music program have done this perhaps?

if they are MB library playlists then even if you choose M3U as the format in the Library preferences, MB would not save the #EXTINFO
if the playlists are created by exporting a static copy from an MB library playlist, then you have the option of choosing M3U#EXT for exported playlists in the Library preferences which would write that info.
Otherwise many software applications can write that info to an m3u playlist

thanks Steven. We only edit the m3u playlists with windows notepad. I'll keep looking to try and find whats causing it. I mean they still work ok, but it just adds unnecessary info when we are trying to edit them.
The odd thing is that they all have a timing of -1 seconds, whereas they would normally have the correct length in seconds.
