MB3 Search show specific result

MusicBee 2.5 had an option to show specific search results instead of entire albums. It was an extra option in the Search bar menu.

Has that option moved somewhere, or is it gone? I really loved that!

I am guessing that you mean the option to toggle 'Always show the entire album'?
It should be under the little drop down arrow at the search field:

Exactly! But that menu item, "Search Results", doesn't show up in 3.0.5954...

Oh I see, it's only available in Album and Tracks view...

thats right, its no longer supported for the Artwork layout

Any chance it will come back? I mostly use Album Covers view, I loved that I could search for anything (I have virtual tags with producers, arrangers, orchestrators etc.) in there. I can live with Album & Tracks though.

Hi, I have just upgraded to v3 from v2.5 and also miss this feature in the 'Album Art' view - I've just spent about 3 hours trying to find this in the options and just come across this thread that tells me it is not there! :-) I have found it in 'Album & tracks' view though and this is okay, but I personally preferred the 'Albums' view.

Is there a technical reason why it is no longer included in this view?
