I tried to download the RC3 release but Windows Defender and Google Chrome reports a virus with the download. Has anyone else gotten any notices? the Virus is Trojan: Win32/Fethar.B!cl

So long as you downloaded it from this website, I would almost guarantee it's a false positive. Steven's files are always clean

Yes but the problem is, Windows is deleting the file after detecting the virus so I can't ignore it.
I take it no one has experienced this or has tested the download file as of last night?

Are your Windows Defender definitions up-to-date?
The current version should be 1.219.682.0

The problem is not with MB but with Windows Defender.
MB is clean.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Very strange. My Virus definition was upto date but it appears to have auto updated a few hours after I had tried downloading MusicBee.
I was able to successfully install MusicBee without issues.
Thanks.

Try using https://www.virustotal.com/ to determine whether a file is a false positive or not.
