Hello,
can anyone explain me how this feature works?
I click on any letter, but nothing happens, it just scrolls down my albums.

Could it be because you have your albums sorted by year so (almost) all letters of the alphabet are already in view (so there's nothing to jump to)? What happens if you sort your albums in the main panel alphabetically and try again? The idea is it should "jump" to the first album starting with the letter you clicked on (bring it in view at the top of the page).

(I don't use the feature and I use a totally different layout so I'm just guessing here).

If you update to the very latest version, then when you sort by year the AZ Jumpbar should show years instead of letters.

You were right, it works if I sort items by artist.

Did it, but still shows letters instead of years.

Did you download this version: http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V3_0/MusicBee3_Patched.zip and do you start MB with (a shortcut to) the MusicBee3.exe file?
