Hi I have playlist in the mbp format and also have exported playlists in an m3u format.
These exported playlists can be played through my nas and Logitech Media Server (LMS).
However, LMS uses a different syntax but the same format (m3u) when creating playlists so I won't be able to modify playlists created in MB with LMS.

MB-Playlist

../Lush_1994_Split/04_Hypocrite.ogg
../Sundays_1997_Summertime/1_Summertime.mp3

LMS-Playlist

#CURTRACK 1
#EXTM3U
#EXTURL:file:///volume1/music/Radiohead_1997_OK%20Computer/10_No%20Surprises.mp3
#EXTINF:228,No Surprises
/volume1/music/Radiohead_1997_OK Computer/10_No Surprises.mp3
#EXTURL:file:///volume1/music/Peter,%20Paul%20&%20Mary_1962_Peter,%20Paul%20and%20Mary/02_500%20Miles.mp3
#EXTINF:168,500 Miles
/volume1/music/Peter, Paul & Mary_1962_Peter, Paul and Mary/02_500 Miles.mp3

Any ideas anyone on how to achieve a completely interchangeable format? Thanks!

I don't modify playlists on my Squeezebox, but my MB playlists are exported as PLS and they work fine in LMS.  Perhaps you can try using PLS and see if that helps.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It says extm3u in your quote. Try m3u(#ext) format to see if that works.
