I would prefer not to have any fields displayed below the album artwork, as in the pic:

After a restart of MB, the settings automatically change. The album field is displayed:

 I do not want this as I have the album as my header already. Why is this happening? Is there a way to correct this. I would find it very strange that MB makes this display mandatory.

I think this was changed for 3.0. I suggest you try it and see. (Look for the stickied topic in this board.)

Nope. Version 3 made no difference. I can remove the field display in the settings, but it simply re-appears after a re-start. Seems like a pretty obvious bug to me.

As far as I'm aware it's always been that way, but there is a workaround/temporary solution.
For the field displayed below the artwork, choose a field that will always have a null value, for example Virtual16. After restarting it should still show nothing there.

Well, that's what I ended up doing. It would be nice if this issue was fixed though, I'd rather not have the extra blank space between albums.
