Author Topic: Needed: A very, very basic tutorial  (Read 2516 times)

I need a tutorial that assumes I know nothing about MP3 players, because I don't.  I've never used WinAmp or anything like that.  I know what Windows is and how to navigate around the web and play movies on my VLC player, so I don't need things like "how does a mouse" explained.  But I need everything about MusicBee explained from the very beginning.  Can someone please point me to a tutorial, written or video, that starts me off with the basic basics?

I want to get to the point where I can:
have different playlists and pick one to play.
know where to put my files that I am ripping off the web (all in one folder, or do I need to keep categories there as well?).
have the lyrics show up on the screen while the song plays.

Thanks to all,

BHD

I agree with you. I don't need a basic tutorial myself but more advanced one, like I already said here: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=16520.msg96543#msg96543

MusicBee is a great program but it can be confusing at times and options can be one too many. That's not a bad thing but for a basic user these things can lead to not using MusicBee to the full potential or not using MusicBee anymore at all!

So like I said in the link above, a written or even better, video tutorial on Youtube would be absolutely amazing. Dealing with pretty basic stuff on how to import music files, changing basic settings etc. And then going on to more advanced stuff like customization, editing, converting etc. This program is very deep and it needs something like this.

Then these tutorials can be embedded on this site so the people who come to download this wonderful program can see these tutorials immediately. It's a situation where you can't lose. There just needs to be a hero who has a substantial knowledge in MusicBee and is willing to record some tutorials.
