Author Topic: Selective music syncing?  (Read 2318 times)

I may wish that my phone was big enough to hold all my music, but it's not.

Is it possible to specifically mark songs as "to sync" or "don't sync" so that I can tell my device to sync "everything that's marked"? I feel like I could get around this by dumping everything I want to sync into a dedicated playlist, but would that mess up other playlists I want to sync? I don't want to have to go through and manually select the file folders for each album I want.

Also I'm on Android.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Using a playlist for syncing shouldn't mess up your other playlists.  I have an auto playlist that only includes ticked tracks (the check mark column), so when I tick or untick a track the sync list is updated accordingly.

There's a tick? I don't see a tick box of any kind.

Look in your "set displayed fields" box in the main panel.  You can add an itunes-style tick mark column.
