Make sure you use the bottom .exe link.

This is an update to the previous 2.5 version.

If you have MB already installed, extract the file from the new ZIP and place it in your MusicBee folder.  Then run it and v2.5.5794 will update the existing 2.5 files.

If you don't have MB installed, download it from here http://getmusicbee.com/download.html and install.  Then follow the instructions above.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Did you try running it as an Administrator?
Or do you have an Anti Virus program?  Specifically Avast?  You may have to whitelist the MB exe.

Do you currently have an older version of MB installed, or is this a first time install?

Follow the link and instruction in my sig.  You'll be downloading a zip so no need to install.  Just extract into the MB folder and let it overwrite what's there.  You'll be up and running 2.5.5794 in no time.

Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

It took a round-about way to get there, but I'm glad to hear we got it figured out.
