You should try to tweet @GabeAul which is the main public figure for anything Windows 10 related. Sometimes a public notice is needed to make things go forward. ;)

I just spend close to an hour to do something about it, but Microsoft is really turning this in a (bad) Kafka experience.

Hey!
Not a completely wasted hour. My comment is showing up now.
They did not yet take the effort to remove the app all together, but remarkably they did take the effort to replace my 'CRAP' with  ****
Very decent guys, over there at Microsoft ;-)

That's great!!
However, using the link in the first post of this thread, the page is still not showing any reviews or comments.  Perhaps I have to be on a windows phone in order to see them.  In which case, I will -never- see them.

Thanks again for putting your phone at risk.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

yes, but that links (now) shows N/A.
I assume that that means 'not available'

So it seems we are slowly beating the b'stards.

So... did you like the app or not?

That review is a bit ambiguous.  :P
Bee excellent to each other...

That review is a bit ambiguous.  :P

;-)
I believe that was my second attempt to get a review posted there.
Still doing my utmost best trying to keep it very respectful and decent.
The following third attempt was probably in a bit less ambiguous tone, but that one didn't get through it seems ;-)

Following the link in Steven's initial post regarding the fake MB in the Windows store results in this:
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I just checked their store on my Windows phone, and indeed both versions (also 'Latest MusicBee') are finally gone.

Surely Steven will have received an apologetic notification and probably some flowers from Microsoft that they finally removed it.
