There is a redirect on your down load page to some BOGUS VIRUS WARNING.

Possibly a lock out link.

I hope this is nothing to do with you and that you sort it ASAP.

I just checked the download page and there is no redirect.  I suggest you check your anti-virus program as that is where the problem lies.
Official MusicBee download page:  http://getmusicbee.com/download.html

I'd also like to suggest that you change the subject of this thread because, as far as I can tell, there isn't a danger from MB or the download page.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Go to http://getmusicbee.com/download.html

Click on "START DOWNLOAD" and it sends you to http://www.mediafire.com/download/2lwer843gop84rt/MusicBeeSetup_2_4.zip

That is where the fake virus warning is.
I have twice completed the download per your steps and did not receive any warnings.  I'm using Firefox.

I just tried it using IE, and something funky is going on.  After clicking 'download' another window opens up with the URL of http://vacuous-band2da066.com/go/downloadmanager_ilm?source=adsupply-mf-us-ie&adprovider=adsupply.  It's some sort of a download manager.  But at the bottom of the original IE window is a box offering to save or open the file.  And this box is clean and from within IE.

So the problem is not with MB, but with MediaFire as I just downloaded four other files from other sources using IE and didn't get the popup.  And using the official download page's 'mirror' site works fine also.

I tried it in Chrome with AdBlocker disabled and also in IE.
Both times MediaFire opened a popup advertising window before starting the file download. :(

The downloaded file is fine, it's just the website being spammy.
On the plus side, I only have to complete a 15 second survey for a chance to get a $1000 shopping voucher. Whoo!

Are you volunteering to split that evenly among the 8521 forum members?  I'll PM you my address so you can send me the 0.117 USD.

Oh, and thanks!

That's 1000 Australian dollars, which is currently only 777 US dollars.
Apologies if you've already rushed out and spent your 11 cents.
