OK, then there's no track in your library. Now you said you wanted to import not all files but some files in specific folders, right?
Then let's do that.
1. Click on inbox node, select all tracks and remove them (only from inbox, not from computer). Then you will have no files in your library & inbox.
2. Run "Scan folders for new files" command. Tick all folders that you want to import files from. Tick "add to library" option.
Then you will have the files in your music library that you wanted to import.

Many thanks, redwing.

<<<OK, then there's no track in your library.
Hmmm, but why does MB show there are:

Is it correct, the same result I would get when I drag music folders and drop them over MB?

Done, now it looks: http://i.imgur.com/yQWIXeR.png

How could I let MB automatically remove entries of files being removed / not existing anymore? And when I do not want to have special (still existing) music folders be displayed in MB, how could I remove the entries of special music folders form MB?

Many thanks.

What do you mean by special music folders? Where do you see them?

On my hard disks, external / internal drives. So, just normal folders. Special folders, means certain folders, not all of my folders, may be a few folders of them, some of them, one of them, etc.

Just select files in the music library that you want to remove from the library, and remove them (not from computer). If you need to see each file's folder, then add "path" field to the main panel.

Thank you very much.

Yes, but I do not want to do it manually, so how could I let MB automatically remove entries of files being removed / not existing anymore?

It rescans all files it knows.

I wouldn't recommend it because sometimes you will get unexpected results depending on your settings. For instance, drag & drop on the same drive could move folders instead of copy them.

I am not quite sure to understand:
<<<OK, then there's no track in your library.
But it shows there are. Why does MB do that, what is the reason to show it, if there are not any files in the library?

<<<<Remove Unmarked Dead Links in the Library
------------------------------------------------------
If you delete music files with MB closed, MB database could have discrepancies with your actual music files. In that case, MB won't correctly mark those non-existent tracks as dead links until you attempt to play or edit them. There are several ways to resolve this issue.

(1) Tick "on startup check for updated or missing files" option under Preferences> Library
(2) Add your music files folder to the monitored folders setting under Preferences> Library
(3) Run Tools> Advanced> Rescan All Files command to update database

Thank you for the link, yes, I had already activated those options, but had not get it to work, may be I am able to get it now: http://i.imgur.com/2QyOWs2.png

Alright, just use "Scan folders for new files".
So the folders are moved / copied instead of their files just will be added to MB (whereto, to what folder are they moved / copied?) ? That would be extremely adverse. I had understood dropping the folders / files will cause an entry of the files in MB. That is not right?
