howdy y'all,

i map a drive letter to a local drive:path for my music collection. that way i can move the collection if needed without breaking the path to the actual files. this works pretty well for itunes and foobar2000. it does NOT work for musicbee because musicbee does not see the mapped local drive. it sees my mapped network drives, but not the one that maps z:\ to d:\music.

help, please?

take care,
lee

howdy Steven,

i used subst - this ...
subst z: f:\data\music

the really freaky thing is that the map to my NAS shows up just fine. [*grin*]

take care,
lee

howdy Steven,

now, for some unknown reason, music bee is seeing the mapped local drive. Z: is there! [*grin*]

take care,
