Navigating Playlists

So I have a large number of playlists that I need to reference often. When I start typing the first few letters while in the playlist section, the highlighted playlists will jump around to each new letter rather than building out the word.

For example, if I type out F-A-S-T instead of going to the fast playlist, it will go to playlists starting with F, then A, then S, then i'll end up at the T's.

How can I search by whole words?

I don't think you can do that in the left panel.  You could request it on the wishlist.
