The database for external devices are stored in Appdata with the name of that volume. Could be possible storing that databases in their corresponding external device?
I rate many files in another computer using MB too and when i come back to this computer the rates are not updated in that database, i have to delete that .mbl file to update the ratings. Having it stored in the device i could retain play counts and any database only field.
