"Ignore words" filter only working under certain conditions?

For some reason, the "ignore words" filter is only working if I select "the following fields define an album" option under the grouping category (preferences > sorting/grouping). It doesn't work at all when I select "files for each album are organised in their own folder." Is this normal?

How so?  Can you give an example (or even better a screenshot)?

its ok - i know what is being refered to. Its done that way because some people might be using folder grouping for albums with poorly tagged files, so if tags were included in the sorting that would potentially mess the sorting up. I dont plan to change that or add a new option
